I have been working with Brecken for awhile now on rolling over, and today I put him on his belly and ran to answer my phone, and came back and he was on his back, he rolled over!! DH and I couldn't believe it so we got the video camera and put him back on his belly and he did it two more times!!! I'm so proud, he loves learning and is doing great he is 7weeks and 5 days old. I'm always a proud Mommy, but moments like these are just amazing to see how he is learning, and knowing you are doing your part of parenting by teaching him...I'm on cloud nine and just had to shared lol

That's wonderful! What were you doing to get him to work on it? I'm trying to work with Miles and am always looking for new games to play with him to make it fun.

I've just been putting him on his tummy as much as I can, but the second he got fussy would pick him up so he wouldn't associate it with crying and end up not liking it, then I'd lay some toys out and get on eye level with him and once he seemed fine I'd put one arm up by his ear, then I'd hold onto this legs and roll him over and would do this several times and clapping and going all out lol like he was doing it himself and would do this until he got tired of it and would pick him up and be done and we did this every day a few times a day and finally today I sat him down and he had both arms out and had his head held up really good, and he just leaned and kicked a little and over he'd go, so if anything I think it was mostly he finally has good head control and enough strenght to wiggle and kick over (from just continuing to practice it and finally it all clicked). I hope this made sense it's kind of hard to explain lol
