Well, not really but that is the song that is playing in my head right now. We are on our way to OK at the moment and let me just say I LOVE TECHNOLOGY. I have our power inverter hooked up to the car, and my laptop hooked up to the inverter....and using a wirelss Verizon card to catch up while Walter drives.
We were only back from Kentucky for less than 48 hours before leaving so I just didn't have a chance to catch up while at home. Kentucky was great. The drive for us to Louisville was only 4 hours. Walter went to work Thursday and after Naina's nap, we went antique shopping. Then we went to Hobby Lobby (I don't think I have one near me) and I had a hay day with the picture frames. We then went to a mall and picked up Walter from work.
The next day Naina and I went to Bardstown to Christmas Bazaar and walked this little quaint town. Then Naina and I went to a Monastary which was beautiful and peaceful. I often wonder what makes people pursue the life of a monk....it does seem peaceful. We then went to a winery (a contrast, huh?). I purchased a couple bottles of a Rose, which I don't normally drink. But they were just so good and actually won several awards.
Saturday Walter was with us and things just didn't go as planned.....I had the whole day mapped out and he started changing everything whcih resulted in us doing practically NOTHING. I was a bit annoyed....but we did go to the Louisville Slugger Museum...but didn't take the tour. Next trip we will.
Oh, Friday night we went to a benefit for a local hopsital's NICU. Naina saw Santa Claus and lots of Dickens style carolers and actors. There was singing and lots and lots of trees, wreaths, etc. We left there and took a horse drawn carriage around downtown. It was a lot of fun...and cold!
Naina has been so grumpy today...I wonder if it is finally teeth? I guess time will tell.
So, we are on our way to OK....like I said, trying to catch up here while we are on the road. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
