Christmas Card Pic Help :)

I'm getting ready to snap our pics for the Christmas card this week as soon as my son gets a hair cut - I bought some 10 inch letters that spell out the word Joy that my kids are going to hold in the photo, they are a santa red color...so do you think it would look ok if I dressed them simply in jeans and white tops (with bare feet) like this.....

Violet (the sweater is a true white, not a cream color like it appears in this pic)

Jacob (Shirt would be untucked for a more casual look)

we have these items on hand, so I'm hoping it will look ok? they may or may not wear santa hats.

Cute! I think it's hard to go wrong with denim and white. Are you taking them outside or in? Another cute idea that's easy is to wrap them up in xmas lights...it looks really cute, especially with babies!

We have that plan too Ally! We did it with Jacob when he was a baby and it was a hit! we were actually going to try and re-do the O Magazine cover in some form that is out this month with ellen end Oprah.....this one...

with Jacob we did a beautiful pic where he was just glowing in white twinkling lights but I'd love to do something with the two kids like above but with the lights glowing.....LOL

Great idea, Ally! I think white shirts and denim would look great. I took our Christmas pics yesterday and boy was it an ordeal!

Ally always has the best ideas for photos! I love the Christmas light idea, and yes, I love the white shirt and denim idea!

Melissa that O cover idea is so funny. You have to show me when you do it. Hey if you need any photos combined to get this look I can help you out with that. The hardest part about taking them with 2 little ones is getting even one photo that's good of both!

I really like it!!!! I think it would be so adorable--and I love the matchiness (is that a word??) Good luck! We tried our christmas card photo shoot last night and got one that is semi-acceptable. It's going to have to do lol.

Same here....we took some that are okay (it is hard to get a great photo when you are trying :-). So, I pulled a few from what we took and made a card online...looking forward to see how they turn out.

I am not looking forward to snapping the pics.......but sadly, I'm totally not in the Christmas spirit at all and my Christmas tree is not even decorated. sigh.
