Preface: The intention was for this to be an interesting day. Was going out to my in-laws to visit my horses and see everyone there. But SIL has the stomach flu, so alas we stayed home.
12 pm: DH comes home from work for lunch break.

I 'make' lunch.

Pump again...
DH feeds Jax his solids- homemade pear puree. He actually eats them when DH feeds him.

DH goes back to work. Baby gets afternoon nap.
Bit of laundry.

I take advantage of napping baby and do the prep work for dinner tonight. And no, that is not a cup of pee!! It's chicken broth.

Jax wakes up and we have some cuddles and some Jumperoo time. He was crazy in it today!

4:30 pm: Jax takes evening catnap, while I pump *again* and relax a bit with my guilty pleasure, Project Runway.

Jaxon is awake. DH calls to let me know he has 2 emergencies to go see and will be late
It's nearly 7pm. Time to get the bath ready.

Baby bath time.

We have cuddle time, and then at 8 pm it's baby bed time.

Finally, I can eat the dinner I prepared earlier. Mmmm, potato and leek soup with bacon crumbles.

DH gets home after I ate and I get to have some 'me time'. Time for my daily bubble bath.

Then its wash dishes, pump again, change and feed Jax, and time for bed at 11.

Ditto to Amanda... Your dinner looks delish! I make a *killer* potato soup... It's one of my specialties! It looks similar to yours and I also use bacon! Mmmmm!!
As always, Jax is adorable!

That soup is one of my favorites. I probably make it 1-2 times a month in wintertime. Briea, the bacon is key, isn't it?!
