Anyone been thinking about our little dumplings 2nd birthdays yet? Thought about presents, parties?? Share it here!

We already know what we're going to buy Harvey. A singing and dancing Mickey Mouse!!! He will love it, he is very into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse lately No idea on whether we're doing a party this year or not. For his first birthday I planned everything out to the very last detail and everything went wrong....I really don't want that stress again :-/ So we're unsure on a party, but one thing's for certain, there will be a family get together at our house in the evening

What about your little dumpling!?!

I was thinking of a Pirate theme, but he still loves Vikings and How to Train your Dragon is his favorite movie, so we might go with a Viking theme again.

We are probably doing a Dora theme, very low-key. I have already bought her presents (and her Christmas presents too), because this baby is due a month before her birthday. With her birthday being on the day before Thanksgiving it's hard to get people together the weekend before it.

You all are so organized! I have not thought or planned for bday or presents here. Maybe we'll get her a small laptop. She uses Dh's own right now to play some of sesame street learning games but the laptop is very heavy and I keep fearing she'll drop it on her own feet. I know we won't do anything big for the bday though. Most likely the same 3 kids that she had for her first bday. Can't settle on a theme yet; she is into too many things these days - elmo, dora, mickey mouse, superwhy, etc.

Those all sound like such fun ideas ladies!

For Harvey's birthday we will probably take him away somewhere nice for the day and then have a small family get together at our house in the evening. Mickey Mouse themed of course!

we will be having a combo party with DS and one of his friends they are only two weeks apart. It is going to have an owl theme for "look hooo is turning two" since the little friend is a girl we had to chose something gender neutral. so it will be a real simple party of fall colors and owls i'm supper excited .

Those all sound like fun. I can't believe they will be 2 so soon. I spoke with Lolu's daycare teacher and they said its okay to bring a cake and snacks for the kids in her class. So, we'll be doing that as well as doing something with 2 families who have kids that play so well with her. Need to decide theme though. She still likes a lot of sesame street character, mickey mouse, and now she likes strawberry shortcake (more because of the strawberry in her name since she loves strawberry).
