Does your toddler behave in the cart while you go grocery shopping? What do you do to keep them entertained?

Katie is pretty good, but she likes to be carried most of the time. My experiences are different than many people though because my father almost always accompanies us on grocery shopping trips so he can buy the few items that my mom wants but can't get out to get for herself. I push the cart and get the stuff for both of us while Katie's Papaw carries her and walks along with me. She gets lots of attention from people because Dad has lots of friends who stop to talk with him and 'admire' Katie. The only way we shop alone is if it is a short list and I can be sure we won't be more than 10 minutes because she really, really hates riding in the cart.

He is great in the cart, he asks to get in and sit down. We like to swing by the bakery counter for free cookies for all the boys too. It's a fun treat to going shopping, although if possible I shop without the kids.

Most times Leigh is good, sometimes I have to give her goldfish or something to occupy her time. She doesn't like to be strapped in so if I'm going big shopping then I usually do it after work so she is home with her dad.

Lolu loveees the cart. She cries if we leave a store and I don't put her in one. The only thing is she likes to bite on grocery. The last time I had 2 green pepper in a plastic bag and she was trying to bite them through the plastic bag She has also tried to bite oranges, plums, corns, etc. So, I try to keep groceries away from her.

Connor is pretty good over all. Some times he has his days when he just cant sit still. He prefers to sit in the grocery section of the cart instead of the seat. He likes getting burried!

Absolutely not! She hates being in a grocery cart. The only way i can keep her happy is to use a Car cart or she likes those bigger carts at walmart, where you're not in the actual cart.

Tristan is very well behaved little boy, he loves going shopping with me. If he starts to get overwhelmed or whatever i will let him hold the list and ask him whats next, what should we go get next or just something like that to hold his attention but usually he does great!

Owen is very good at the store...he is my shopping buddy. He has never tried to stand in the cart or get out...he just shills out and holds stuff for me. His favorite part is helping me put stuff up on the counter
