My name is Lisa and I am 32 yrs old. I am a single mom of 3 kids. Katie will be 6 in July and my twins are 3.5. Both my previous pregnancies were IVF. I was told I had unexplained infertility and would never get pg without IVF. I tried 9 fauiled IUI;s and home insems over 18 months to ttc my daughter katie and nothing worked until my 2nd ivf. With my twins I went straight to IVF and conceived the first try. This time I decided to try on my own with a donor I found and he was very committed. My first donor backed out after 3 months and I was thankful to have this guy. I actually figured after 5 months I would do IVF in the fall and started saving for it. Meanwhile I was still trying with my donor friend. I didn't really think it had worked, even though 7dpo my boobs started getting really sore, which was totally new to me. I refused to test until I was 2 days late and even then I was terrified. I had seen so many bfn sticks that I refused to pee on sticks. lol I took 2 different clear blue easy tests and they each turned positive immediately. My dr fit me in for an appt that afternoon and I bought the pg tests to her and her test showed negative. I didn't understand that. She ordered a beta, which came back at 329. Their tests were bad My next beta 2 days later was 767 and then 2 days following was 2000. I have been very nervous with this pg because it's such a miracle. I was SO happy and relieved to see the heartbeat and my little bean was measuring 2 days ahead.
