And, do you think the amount of siblings you have, effects your decision on how many children you want?

I have three older brothers and yes it does effect my decision. Just today at lunch I told Matt that I want 3 if not 4 kids. I want a big family like me and my bros...Holidays and get together's just aren't the same w/o a room full of people, all shouting over each other, trying to get the last word in.

I only had one brother, and we loved it that way! My DH had three sisters... I don't think he cared about the size of his family, but he definitely wanted sisters. I think we're also trying for three or four, though.

I have one sister. I honestly don't know if it's affected it or not.

I was an only child and always begged my mom for a brother or sister. (well I have a half sister, from my dad's previous marriage, who's ten yrs older, and I hardly saw growing up) I used to love going by my friends' houses who had big families. I loved eating dinner at their house, with everyone around the table. It was chaos, but seemed like the coolest thing to me. So ever since I was little, I swore I'd have at least three! And here we are, expecting baby #4! Guess I stuck to my guns! lol

Well I have 2 older sisters and one older brother.. and one younger brother and one younger sister. I LOVE the holidays when everyone is together, especially now that we all have at least a spouse. I loved the chaos when I was growing up, and sharing a room with one of my sisters.. I wouldn't give that up for the world. I always wanted a big family, and now I am preggo with #4...

I just have a younger brother (3.5 yrs difference). We were never very close and we seldom talk to each other. My DH is an only child. Our siblings (or lack thereof) is exactly why we wanted a bigger family. I think number 4 does it for us but I'm excited about how much fun it will be....bring on the chaos!!!

I have 6 siblings. In a way it did. DH came from a family a 4 and I came from a family of ….9. For me I think that’s a lot and DH doesn’t like small families.

I have a younger brother and sister. We'll probably have 3 kids, maybe 4. DH is an only child and didn't want that for our kid so we knew we'd have at least 2. We'll see after this one how far we go!
