When will you be going to the hospital and signing all your forums to register to give birth there?
I'm thinking about calling up the hospital next week to send the forums out to me and ill probably go up and see them at 24 weeks.

I don't think i'll have to register....We only have one hospital here, and all OB's are connected to it in a network or something like that (It's been a long time, I can't remember exactly), so I think your OB automaticaly registers you...I can't even remembering having to fill out any paperwork....I might of signed some things, but I didn't have fill it out.

My OB gave me the forms and told me to mail then at the beginning of December. So, that puts me at 30 weeks.

I'm registered already. My hospital encourages you to register as soon as possible but no later than 3 weeks before your due date. I went ahead and registered because of having a previous loss at 28 weeks, I wanted to be prepared if something happens to this baby.

I did it Monday when my sister was having her baby lol. I was at my midwife appt just before then, and she gives the pre-registration form in with the 2nd trimester packet, so I took it into the hosp with me while I was there and filled it out and turned it in.

I think my OB told me to register in my 7th month, so that would put me around 30 weeks also.

Jeez...I haven't even thought of it yet But from reading some of your responses, around 28/30 weeks seems about right...

I think my stuff is already situated at the base hospital but if not, probably around 30+ weeks. Which is hard because it will be around Christmas time and everything shuts down.

Gosh, I really don't remember registering with the hospital when I had my DD (of course, so much was going on in that pregnancy, it was a blur). I think it might just be an automatic thing since all of the OB's in my practice deliver only at this one hospital...not real sure. Will have to check on this!

At the 32, or 34 week appointment they send you downstairs after the appt. and have you register at admissions then. My OB is in the hospital, so it's pretty easy. But I dont have any forms, it's all on computer, you just give them your info and they fill it in on the computer for you. Piece of cake.

I can't remember when I sent in the forms with DS, but I'll send in the form for this one whenever I get around to it. They gave us the form at our 6-8 week class. My OB office only delivers at one hospital, so I'm not sure why we have to do it, but it's not that big of a deal, I guess.
