Oh my gosh, I am just so excited! First of all the last 3 days I have only thrown up about 3 times per day (versus 10+ for the last 5 weeks!). I am seriously hoping it's not a fluke, and I am really turning around. So I go in and I gained SIX pounds in ONE week!!!!! I almost fainted! But the doctor said it's absolutely fine, because I was so dehydrated before, I just had no fluid in me, and she said since I lost a few pounds I am really only up 3-4 pounds, and I am a quarter of the way through my pregnancy, so that's absolutely perfect she said.
Then she tried for the heartbeat on the doppler and couldn't find it
I was like oh man, bummer. And then she said, "don't say bummer, you get an ultrasound!"
WOOOHOOO! It was so cute
The baby was moving around and everything. Oh my gosh it was just sooo adorable! And it was weird cuz last night I was laying on my belly and it just felt weird on my right side, like it was harder over there or something and I thought to myself, I think the baby is hanging out on that side. And sure enough when she did the u/s there it was over on the right! So that's pretty cool! Baby is measuring 11 weeks, and I am 10 weeks 4 days today. Doc said that's perfect, didn't change my due date or anything. Heartrate was in the 160's
So, my doc said she wanted to take a peek down there even though it was super early, she said she likes to look and see if she can get an idea. And she said there'sno guarantee this early, but she said she doesn't see any boy parts..she said that she could be wrong cuz it's still so early, but I have had a strong feeling lately it'sa girl too, so I would not be suprised in the least if it's a girl. It was kind of cool just to get an idea. I have my 18.5 week u/s schedule for October 28th
YAY! 8 more weeks til I know FOR SURE!
I was so bummed Dh wasn't there. I told him not to ask for it off cuz it wasn't any big apt and thenI go an get an u/s. Oops! The doc gave me 3 great pics, here they are:
The one above is my FAVORITE! You can see the little legs, and knees and feet, and the belly and head, and you can even make out where they eyes, nose and mouth are. And you can see right between the babies legs too
