Not planned! We we're NTNP (not trying, not preventing) though, so we had an idea it would happen sooner or later! I'm so excited! I haven't told him yet (his birthday is Saturday so I'm going to surprise him) but, I know he will be thrilled!
Maybe he'll be able to take r&r when the baby is born at least?
And as to the question, it wasn't planned, but it wasn't 100% surprise, we weren't really not trying, we had been right up to before I got pregnant, but I got frustrated with trying not to so decided that since I so wanted another baby that if it happened, it happened. And well that seems to be all I need to do with my fertility...
That's LJ, a for sure not trying baby, a huge blessing though...he gave me a lot more than just himself in fact...
Unfortunately it looks as though he will not be getting any kind of R&R. He is a psychological operations officer and will be attached to a special forces unit. Most likely he thinks his deployment will be an embassy job and he will only be gone about 8 months so no R&R. He is thinking he will be leaving around March. But, there is always a chance of deployments and at least this time it won't be Iraq. I am not too terribly upset about it; it just would've been nice to have him here
