Ok neither of these pains seems too worrisome at the moment, but I am also totally unsure what they are from. I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas, or has also experienced them either while PG or not.

1. A sharp quick ear pain. Just every once in a while I will get a little jolt of pain in my ear. It never lasts more than a second and isn't super frequent or anything. It's in my left ear, and as far as I know I haven't injured my eardrum and I don't have any cold or sinus infection symptoms or anything like that.

2. You know that little knot feeling you get when baby is near surface (or at least that is what I have always felt was the case)... well today while that happened I pressed on it a little like I usually do to get baby to move but it hurt a bit. It didn't hurt anywhere near or around the knot-like spot, but the entire time it was firm like that it felt pretty sore to touch, then went away once no longer firm.

Thanks for your help! I will bring them up at my next appointment too, but it's not til the 8th.

Your second pain almost sounds like braxton hicks, but isn't it too early for that????

1 - that happens to me all the time! I never associated it with pregnancy, though, I just thought it was strange.

Thats happened to me. Usually the "knot" I get is like the whole babies body pressed against my pelvic area. Its really hard to the touch, and sometimes sore. If I bend and the baby is positioned like that, it hurts reaaaaaaaally bad.

I think I get random ear pain like that occasionally but usually don't worry about it. It happens when I am not pregnant too. And I agree that the other pain sounds like BH contractions too but I don't remember mine being sore to the touch when I had them.
