I have been all over town the last couple weeks looking at baby stuff, you know, cribs, dressers, strollers, car seats, all the big stuff. I know one of the cribs is on backorder until end of November, so I don't want to wait too long to order it. Is anybody else shopping/looking/buying? What have you found in your shopping experiences? Good, bad?

I've been looking, no doubt about that! I already know what type of stroller I want as well as some other misc. items but I don't know where I'll be getting all that stuff. I'm going to have to do price comparisons since we can't go overboard. I don't plan on really shopping until maybe 6-7 months.

Today I bought the first thing for baby and it was a hat

We found our stuff from JCPenny's online. I looked everywhere and finally found what I wanted. We will probably order it in the next month or two.

What kind of stroller are you looking at? I am still very much on the fence about strollers...

We aren't getting crib furniture as baby will be in our room for awhile so we aren't worrying about it right now.

There is a big baby sale in mid-November in my city so I am hoping to find a stroller and whatever else I feel we may need then.

I've been looking, but only bought a couple of used things so far. My birthday is in November and with Christmas coming up, I'm going to register soon, in case people want to get me things for my b-day and x-mas. Then, we'll fill in the holes after the holidays.

Of course, I bought a diaper bag and some of the cutest little shorts the other day with a 15% off coupon...

We went to look at nursery furniture yesterday just to get an idea of what we like and price ranges but that's about it.

We wont be buying much of anything since we have everything still. We are co-sleepers so baby will be in with us or the bassinet. As long as baby stays a girl I have tubs upon tubs of girl clothing

We haven't bought any furniture yet. We only got the travel system because I found it on clearance. We bought our last crib at BRU and drawers at JCPenney. I found a crib I want on some random website with free shipping and no sales tax, so I'll probably order that there, but not sure when. I need to clean out the new nursery. I have tons of clothes of Linzs in there so we're waiting to find out if we're having a girl so I know to give the clothes away or save them for jellybean LOL.

I put my crib/changing dresser combo on lay-a-way in August and just picked it up this past Friday. We won't be taking it out of the box and putting it together for a couple of months, though, still have to paint and what-not.

I have the crib/changing dresser, two crib bedding sets (they were buy one get one free) Boppy pillow, a few packs of diapers and wipes, some newborn sleepers and onesies, socks, my playtex bottles from DD and 4 pkgs of new nipples, 4 boxes of drop in liners for the bottles, some hooded towels, a diaper bag...hmmm...probably a few more things too. Everything I have right now is unisex.

I still need to get my travel system, swing, jumperoo, and bath tub. And we will want to get some more clothes that are gender specific, as soon as we find out.

so far We have a travel system, 3 onsies, a winnie the pooh hat, mitts, bootie set and a 3 pack of socks. Oh and a cradle and crib from when my twin nieces were little that stayed here for sleep overs and that I was smart enough just to put them away. I just need a change table, high chair, diaper pail, more clothing, swing, infant to toddler rocker diapers and wipes, medical kit and grooming kit plus bathing stuff/tub and I will be set lol so overwelming but I am going to add some stuff to our registry for the baby shower and I am sure I will get some stuff. Plus I'll buy more when we find out the gender.

We honestly have only looked in person once just slightly and have looked online but def have not settled on any of the big gear yet! After we find out the sex and that baby is healthy then we will get to business My sister is loaning me a bassinet so that takes care of that for first couple of months so really big thing will be car seat/stroller.

I have bought a few things. Mostly a couple packs of diapers and wipes and some neutral clothing. I don't need too much since I still have a lot of stuff from my son, I am guessing I will get a few things off my registry for Christmas so won't buy those last few big things until after I find out if I will be able to travel for a shower and what I get for Christmas.

I've bought nothing except a cute diaper bag I purchased online and haven't even looked at a baby store yet. I plan to drag DH to a few stores in early Nov. to select the main nursery furniture (crib, dresser/changing table, glider). Everything else I guess I should wait until after my shower to shop for...

I haven't bought anything yet for this little girl. I will have to buy a booster seat for Liam so Lochy can go into his seat so the new baby can go in Lochy's seat. We co-sleep so I don't need to even bring the crib out of storage for a while. I do need to get another sling/wrap for the new baby, I'm thinking a mei tai this time. And then just clothes since we didn't have any for a girl but the Grandmas are taking care of that one! LOL

ETA: We do have one big ticket item that we'll need before the baby gets here--a new car! Our SUV won't fit another car seat in the back so we need to get a mini van. Who knows when we'll do that though.

Sounds like everyone has been busy! I just bought my first maternity shirts the other day and got a little Fisher Price catalog with them. They have a really nice high chair/swing/seat/bassinet combo called the Zen Collection. I really like them, though no stores around me actually carry any pieces for me to look at.
