I really want these done since I have very amateur ones of when I was preggo with Gabby that my friend and I took of each other so would like some for this one too but A)don't have the money and B)don't really have any close friends that are into photography around me now
BUT just ran across an advert on Craigslist where a lady is looking to do free maternity shoots to build her portfolio!!! I looked at her website and she seems quite talented too! I am soooo excited and hope she will do some for me in a couple months or so (I am thinking December/January would be best timing).
So was just wondering if anyone else was getting some done and when u would be getting them taken?
I would LOVE to get some done, but not sure if we will be able to afford it. If I do, I'll probably do between 32-34 weeks. That is awesome that you found someone to do them. We don't have much on Craigslist around here...darn small towns
YAY she just contacted me and said she would especially love to do a tattooed couple! She is planning on doing them first week or so in December in case we want to use for Christmas cards or presents! So happy this made my day haha!

Yes, I'd like to get some done... but, and this'll sound crazy, I'd feel bad I think. I don't have ANY pictures of me pregnant with either of my other two pregnancies and would I be sending the kids the message that this pregnancy is more important? Eh. You've promted me to speak to them and find out how they'd feel about it - I can point out it's something I *wanted* to do with them but we were just far too broke back then.

Anyway, I had some done last time, but I am not sure if I will this time or not. Dh says no, too expensive lol. He doesn't want to pay a photog to do them when that is my business lol.
I was thinking I would want too, but now I feel like I want to wait and see how I actually look, like do I really want to preserve my extra arm flab and double chin in a photo?
We did find our wedding photographer on craigslist, also looking to build his portfolio, and we LOVED him! Awesome find! Any ideas on locale? What you're going to wear? Naked belly shots?
I am considering it this time, even though I didn't have them done with any of my other pregnancies. I look at it this way...this is the last time I am going to do this so I might as well document it fully. Hopefully it won't upset my kids. Plus this time around I have a photographer that I am making some props for in exchange for some session time and pics. Pretty good deal!

I'm going to have some done. Not sure when yet, maybe January. I'm really hoping my braces come off around then so I can smile happily. We have a photographer friend that we're going to ask. My biggest issue was that we get all the originals and he will give them to us.

I swear I was thinking the exact same thing as I was reading along. LOL! I didn't have it done with either girl, but I'll ponder on it. I have a great friend who did the portraits in my signature, so he might be up for taking some.
However, I think I'd rather him take some of us a few months after baby is born.
I would luv to get that done, just need to find somone in my area... I am also considering doing a belly cast too... I think that be kinda neat to have around - I am thinking it would be a fun activity 4my baby shower, something different & kinda kool.
