My husband has sorta agreed to naming our baby Macie, but we're having the toughest time with a middle name. I like Elizabeth, he doesn't. We can't do these names because we're trying not to name her after any family:
Ann
Lynn
Brianna
Grace
Ruth
Rose
Brooke (my daughter's middle name)
This is so tough! Any suggestions?? Our last name is Collins.

My favorite names are usually names that are just cool words...sometimes it doens't work out well, but we had a cat once that would could NOT decide on a name. I said, let's name her just a cool word in Spanish...how about Bonita? Then my husband started singing the song: Bonita Applebaum, I think you're the bomb...and Bam! Her name was Bonita Applebaum...Apple for short.

Also, if we have a girl, her middle name will be Ahavah which means the strongest love you can have for someone besides that which you have with your spouse in Hebrew.

Give him time, Robert didn't like Joy for Meghan's middle name at first (how could you not!?)

Ditto! It ended up not mattering (that doesn't sound right, but I think it's a word, lol) because we're having a girl, but my husband was adamant against Jackson. The more we talked about it, and the more he heard Jackson David, he ended up liking it and saying that's what we would go with if our baby had been a boy. So, don't give up hope on Elizabeth... I personally think it's a great middle name (I'm Lauren Elizabeth).

I agree...give him time. Even if it takes you working your butt off to deliver the baby before he caves....you're doing the work, you get to pick the darn middle name!

I love Macie Elizabeth, it's so classic and elegant!
