Is anyone else using two middle names?

It's not that I don't prefer just ONE middle name. But I wanted our daughter to have her own first name (not after anyone) and then one middle name is from my side of the family and one from DH. I Knew I wanted to use my grandma's name for sure but felt bad leaving Dh's side out. But now that I did that with my daughter I feel like I have to do the same with the next born.

My daughter's name is Rylee Emily Irene (Emily is Dh's Grandmother and Irene is my Grandmother)

Is anyone else using 2 middle names??

Well, I have two middle names, and I've always liked that because it made me even more unique. So, of course I'm all for it! I want to give our children two middle names, and when I said, "Caleb Michael Lucas for a boy..." DH was like, "You need two names?" and I was like, "I have two middle names. Is something wrong with that?" He didn't have any more complaints after that!

My husband has no middle name, so he doesn't see the point in giving our kids one either. Our son is Isaiah Matthew, though...so I won that battle, and since this one will probably be Isabella Ahavah, I believe I have won the war.

Two middle names would be really pushing it for me, though!

DD#3 and both of my sons have two middle names. This little guy will most likely have 2 as well.

Cool, so it looks like I am not the only one. LOL I don't know why but I'd feel weird having my daughter with 2 middle names and this one with only one. My name is Short... Laura Lee, so I always wondered how people with 2 middle names felt about it.

I never really thought about it having two middle names. But as soon as I started going out everyone who checked my ID were all,"Whoa that's quite a name." lol..but all four of my names have 7 letters. What is kinda funny even my last name now (took my husbands) is 7 letters!

I don't think it's weird to have two middle names even though I don't know anyone personally that does. We wouldn't have done that to Lily though- her name is a mouthful (Liliana Josephine) and no need to add a second middle to it.

We considered adding a second middle name to our boy choice but ultimately decided not to. We'll save the name for a future child should we have one.

I like double middle names, but DH doesn't see the point. I really didn't see the need to "fight" it since it's not a big deal. I really love double first names and would love to call Riley "Riley Grace." I just doubt that would ever stick. DH does actually like that idea, though, so we'll see.

Rylie Grace is nice! I have a friend who's daughter is Anna Grace. It stuck and her daugher is almost 7 now! I was thinking of naming my daughter Emma-lee. Instead of Emily. But that name seemed way too popular at the time. So we moved the name as her middle name and called her Rylee.

We do good just to come up with a first and middle name. LOL But I don't see anything wrong with 2 middle names.

We want to do something similar.

We are naming her Isla Marie. First and Middle however when people ask us her name or we talk about her we say Isla Marie as if it is all one name. Hoping it will stick and she can change it to just Isla if she wants when she is older.

My parents and a few friends call me Amybeth. I like double first names too but won't be using one. It was hard enough coming up with a single first and a single middle!

Me!!! DD has only one middle name Autumn Leigh, as did my angel baby Maggie Ann but Elijah will have 2 middle names! Elijah Michael Deane. Michael is my Dad's middle name and Deane is my Sisters! She was joking that she wanted me to name the baby after her.......so I did!!! LOL
