We I went to the dr last week and they did the whole urine test and check things on the outside stuff and then wanted an u/s to check things out. It turns out that I have a cyst on m y right ovary about 10mm. Really there's nothing they can do unless it get's bigger. They didn't rally seam worried and It does bother now. I have had them a lot in my life and I know that if it ruptures it's going to KILL! They said it was new because they didn't see it there at my 18 week u/s appt.
Oh that blows. My "corpeus luteum" cyst never "dissolved" like it's supposed to. Instead it kept growing. It's 3cm X 4cm now. So an inch by an inch and a half? Somewhere's about that. lol. I know how bad they suck when they rupture though. And I feel for us both, because I don't think they will just shrink with being pregnant. ((hugs)) Glad it isn't bothering you though!
Oh man, ovarian cysts suck! I had my first one (that I noticed, anyway) back in April of this year, and it was sooooo painful. It never ruptured, though, and instead keeps coming back and then receding again. The last time they checked for one (around 11 weeks), they said that it was only a very small one (on the same ovary as always, my left). So, with the pain I've been getting, I'm kind of wondering if maybe that's what it is again, because the pain's on my left side most of the time.
Update us on what happens, and I hope that you start to feel better!
Sorry! But if it makes you feel any better, I've had one about 4cm on my right ovary for 2 years or so now. It hasn't gotten any bigger, it's actually shrunk a tiny bit, and it hasn't caused me a bit of trouble (so far, crossing fingers!)
Hopefully yours goes away!

That stinks! I had two a once a few years ago. One was the size of a grapefruit that burst and the other was a tumor the size of an orange. I had the tumor removed. The pain is bad...I wouldn't know if it was a cyst bursting or labor starting.
Thank you for my beautiful siggy, *Kiliki*!Visit My Blog
Yuck! I have had them off and on for a few years now. I discovered my first one when I was about 17. I had to go to the ER because it ruptured and then they had to remove two more. I hope it shrinks and doesn't rupture.
