ANyone else noticing hair on your belly? I know kinda personal but I was laying on my bed with my laptop on my lap and when I looked down the light from my computer showed hair all over my stomach. Kinda gross any ideas why? Will it go away after the baby comes?
Thanks,
Kathy

I got it when pregnant with DD and it never really went away I shave it when I shave my legs, which is now getting less and less frequent! Sometimes if there isn't much I pluck it. Not comfortable but it gets the job done.

I have it too. It's not real bad though. I'd be afraid it'd never go away if I shaved it.

ME! It's a little darker than my other hair so I freaked out a little bit when I noticed it the other day.

I come from a very hairy family so I've always had a little hair there, but it did get worse when I was pregnant with Lily and it never went away. I haven't noticed it getting any worse this time around, which is good. I do trim mine but it seems to grow back in a few weeks.

If it sort of looks like a weird happy trail then I think I can count myself in too.

Mine is like thick peach fuzz. Luckily, is is very light so it is not extremely noticeable, yet.

I can notice mine, but nobody else can. peach fuzz is a much better descriptor than weird happy trail looking thing.

Yup, it's called linea negra and it's common during pregnancy, from what I've read. Mine is starting to get a bit worst the past few weeks too. I've also read that darker, thicker hair can start coming in ALL SORTS OF PLACES... so I guess the belly's not so bad when you think about it! HA! I think it's because of all the weird pregnancy hormones.

I got it with DD#1 and it never really went away. It is very light and fine so I don't worry about it too much.

I never got it but I hear its common. I also heard you shouldn't shave it or it will just make it worse and harder to leave after the baby comes.

The linea nigra is the dark line that appears on the skin. The hair is called something else, but I can't remember what.
