...and I've done NOTHING. I have gone shopping and bought a few things I know we will need, but I haven't even touched the nursery yet! I'm starting to spaz a bit about it. At this point in my pregnancy with DS, I had the nursery done COMPLETELY, the car seat in the car, and my hospital bag packed. Where to start, ladies?! Where to start...?
I have about 9-11 weeks left and still haven't done anything also. It will be okay. Just star now with the little things and you should be fine. Really I feel if I get it done to early I'll have nothing to do but wait and watch time brag.
The only thing we have started to do to the nursery is start to clean it out because it had become a storage room, I have been starting to freak out the past couple days because I feel like nothing in the house which feels soooo overwhelming right now so hopefully little by little I will be able to get everything in order.
Well, if this baby comes as early as DD did I've got less than 10 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crap! This week DH has his 3 days off and we're going to bang out Kaija's new room and get her moved (hopefully!!) and start cleaning up her old room to get it ready for baby. That will be step one for us. After that it's washing crib bedding and clothes and stocking the closet. Once we get our taxes done and get our refund (which we hope will be fast) we'll get a new glider and other things we need for a new baby.
If it makes you feel any better, my sister didn't get started on her nursery until about 4 weeks before her baby came. They were redoing the bathrooms in their house and the nursery was the storage area for everything! My parents were so worried about it that they decided to go over and put everything together themselves. My sister was busy with her toddler and her DH was busy with work and playing golf.
I won't have a nursery to do until about 2 months after Logan is born It is really starting to bother me. We're buying the essentials at the beginning of February, but I want to do the nursery!!! ... and I can't, because we have to move first.
Missing our angel baby since Feb 7, 2009

I havent done much really. I dont think there is alot I need to get done now that I think of it. We're not gonna beable to do the nursery until that roof is fixed this spring anyway. My main priority as of now is shopping and getting that out of the way. I wont beable to get the bigger things until the beginning of Feb when our tax returns are here. Other than that, I've dusted all of my vents out and organized my messy kitchen junk drawer. I feel much better with that out of the way though. Im also gonna redo my kids room but no painting in there. Now, our room on the other hand, is a whole nother story. Ick, its so messy and junky. We have a really spacious room and that only allows us more room for crap. So we need to reorganize everything in that room and deep clean in there since that is where the baby will be too. Once I purchase the crib, etc. I'll be more anxious to clean the room out. So until then it is staying that way cause I have no energy to fix it. Then we need our couches cleaned. I also want to repaint the bathroom but we'll see if I get that done, at the least I will have to repaint our bathroom window sill since the paint has peeled off.
Im not really worried about slacking though. I wont be fully ready until march anyways. I'll pack my bag and baby's at the very beginning of April and then Im gonna be playing the waiting game.
With my last baby I had everything set and ready 2.5-3months before baby was actually due and the wait was intense.
Um you're not the only one. I've got like 11 weeks left or since I'm high risk of getting pre-eclampsia again I probably am looking at more like 9 weeks left, and I barely have any clothes for this baby. Let alone a crib to sleep in. We have so much to buy and do it's crazy. I am so not prepared. I have a baby shower coming up beginning of March and I hope I get alot of diapers and essentials because at this point I have nothing
