I swear, Baby JAK has started poking me today. I have gotten used to the kicks and stretches and rumbles, but I swear the movements today all feel like he is taking a finger and POKING me HARD. Of course I know its not really not that since his fingers are still teeny, tiny and its more likely still a foot or elbow or something but ouch! And he has started punching me in the butt again. Silly kid.

I also think I've popped again. I only gained a pound or so since I last weighed myself but the last three or four days it has really felt like my muscles are stretching and my friends who saw me a week and a half ago thought I looked much bigger yesterday. Here comes the bowling ball.

Glucose test tomorrow. Wish me luck.

I have just started feeling those intense pokes as well! I was feeling them all in one spot and when I went to my US today it showed that his little feet are exactly where all those pokes were, right under my ribs!

Thank you MeganPixel for surprising me with this super cute siggy-you rock!

I am telling you guys - this baby has not stopped moving like crazy since yesterday afternoon. Moved all night and all day today, every time I moved or changed positions or sat down. I thought it was supposed to get crowded in there?!? LOL And I still keep expecting to reach down and find a hand or foot sticking out of my cervix or my butt. The kid is clearly not interested in being head down right now.

Survived my glucose test. Really wasn't that bad. But as my SIL pointed out, I am an athlete and am used to drining all sorts of nasty sports nutrition drinks, so maybe that is why I didn't mind it too terribly. But the nures told me I had 5 minutes to drink it all and then the doctor (who I adore) came in and started asking me all my check-up questions, giving me my opportunity to ask questions, etc. How was I supposed to drink and ask my questions/answer his? And when I did finish he said "Well done, but you certainly won't qualify for our chugging team." How could I chug if I was talking? LOL. Now just waiting for results.

On another happy note, I asked the doctor what the odds are of him actually being the doctor to deliver my baby vs. the other docs in the practice and he said 85% - 90% They pretty much are all on call for their own patients rather than rotating, except occasionally on weekends if someone is out of town or has a personal commitment. YIPPEE! So happy about that.

That's great news about your doc!! Glad the GD test wasn't too bad!

I hear you on the movements though, Audrey's is getting stronger too!
