Mine is on this list. If you ladies have a Graco you need to check yours out. They are being recalled b/c the hinge has amputated some kids fingers.

All of these recalls are just ridiculous! I've come to the conclusion that nothing is absolutely safe. Geesh!

Yeah these recalls are just crazy lately makes me scared to buy anything. Especially a used item because it's hard to get those taken care of when you don't have proof of purchase.

Mine is on the list too. Ugh! I'm hoping I can get a repair kit instead of buying a new stroller.

Thanks for posting this!

After reading about the recall in the March DDC, I called Graco Canada. They said that the recall is only for the US. However, I`m going to register my travel system, and if it ends up recalled, the company will contact me.

I can't figure out the model # for the one I'm registered for either! It's the Graco Alano Travel System - Little Wonders.

If you've registered for one, you may want to see if it's still available. Stores can't sell things that are recalled.
Luckily our's isn't on the list

The ones affected were manufactured prior to March of 2008 I believe. After that time, the hinge design was changed to the current and safer version. I just called Graco, and sure enough mine is on the recall list (I knew it was just by looking at the hinge). It was a quick automated thing to type in my serial number and then order my free repair kit to cover the affected hinge.
