Sorry for asking the same questions but I have to. What diaper bag are you getting? Got any links or pictures? I wanted an inexpensive diaper bag that doesnt look babyish. I cannot justify spending 70+ bucks on one.
Here is what I seem to be attracted to so far. It's selling for 29.99 on ebay and she only has 2 left, and I really want!!

This is my first baby - but we registered for one that is a backpack style. DH thought he would be more comfortable with that. I also think I can sling it on my back and have my hands free for the car seat. Didn't want anything that screamed DIAPER BAG - cause I want DH to carry it....hee hee....

I like that! At first I normally just use the one from the hospital and then buy one later once I see what kind of stuff I'll be needing to tote in it everyday.

That's very cute, there are many on etsy too so check there you might find another affordable one you love.

For me... well although it goes against everything about me (I'm normally really "thrifty" (ok cheap)... I do my clothing shopping at Target, have never cared about shoes or bags etc) anyways last year I saw a coach purse and HAD TO HAVE IT, got it for my b'day and I adore it... so I went ahead and got a coach diaper bag, though I did get it 1/2 price on ebay DH will use the freebie from the hospital if he ever takes her out w/o me, they are usually pretty decent and typically just black and manly.

I made mine and total cost for material and what nots was around $30. It looks like a diaper bag tho. I bought one for my husband that is camo for his birthday! Which he claims will be used as a shell bag when they go hunting.. hah

That's a beautiful bag!!!

I'm pretty picky and I hate the look of diaper bags. I wanted something fairly large, especially since we are planning on cloth diapering when out. I wanted a messenger-style strap so I can sling it however I want. I also wanted outer pockets to stash binkies/toys/keys/ect. The bag will also carry everything in my purse. Here's what I picked up at Sears last weekend. The striped smaller bags were bonuses that fit inside. :

I'm not fond of the color (it's more purplish in person) but we must have shopped at every single store in the mall and that's the only one which had the features I wanted.

it got this one: Graco Deco Dots Diaper Bag - Baby Boom - Babies "R" Us

i wasn't going to, even though it matched our stuff, b/c i wanted this one: Eddie Bauer Davenport Duffle Diaper Bag - Silver : Target

but hubby got into our shopping trip the day after Christmas, and was so excited to be saving so much money on the stuff, that he got me the matching diaper bag. it seems to have pretty good reviews, so i will use it, and he also got an Eddie Bauer one at his daddy to be shower, so it will be my back up.

I love that one! The print on it is very cool.

This is mine, I'm pretty excited about it. It's the JJ Cole System bag.

This is the one I registered for. My friend has it and loves it and it isn't too girly so if DH has to carry it he won't look too fruity I really like orange too and since I am having a boy I didn't want anything that screamed girl.

I usually get the $9 solid black, basic one from Wal Mart... or I have 3 diff ones from
Handbags, Luggage, Fashion Jewelry, Sterling Silver - sammoon.com (look under luggage)

ooor I buy cute laptop purses from Target....they are more of a purse, but still work just fine as a diaper bag!

Niema - very cute and stylish. Chrissy - love yours too!!

Here is a type that I found on eBay. I haven't ordered one yet because there are so many cute choices of color combinations, patterns, lettering, etc. (Scroll down to the bottom of their page) but I think I will probably get one of these cause I like cutesy stuff. Might get a plainer one too.

Monogrammed Quilted Diaper Bag--You Create It! SO CUTE - eBay (item 220483538500 end time Feb-17-10 15:12:51 PST)

(Hope that link works, its crazy long)

I have a JJ Cole one that I got last summer after my other diaper bag broke while out doing errands. It's definitely okay for one child, but I'm pretty sure it's not big enough for 2, especially with both of them in cloth diapers. My sister got a Coach diaper bag for Christmas that I would love to have. I'm such a Coach fanatic anyway, but I really can't justify spending that much on a diaper bag.
