Well ladies, I feel like I need some advice. I don't get on here often enough to keep up w/ everyone (Sorry!) and I think I am still in shock that we're having a girl...since we already have 2 boys!! So it's been hard to decide on a name. We really like Tessa...but aren't loving any middle name combinations so far. We like Tessa Ryann so far the best. WDYT??? Also, lately I've been drawn to the name Ella. We originally wanted the name Elyse "Elly" for a nickname when I was preg. w/ my first son, but then a few different ppl we know have had daughters since then & named them either Ellie, Eliana or Elyse!! So I don't want to join the trend! Even though we still love the name. So I think Ella is similar, but maybe still in the running since I LOVED all those other "E" names. Please let me know what you think...

Tessa VS. Ella ???

Also ANY middle name suggestions would be appreciated too! Some family names that I wouldn't mind using are: Claire (my mid name + gr'ma & grt. gr'ma) Elaine, Mae, Ryann.

Suggestions?? Thanks so much for your help! We aren't telling ANYONE (except you all now!) our names until she is born, so it's tough to not have anyone to bounce ideas off of!!

Do you think it goes ok w/ our last name, Loehr? (sounds like "Lore")

Ella Loehr--too many "L" sounds???

Also, any mid name suggestions for Ella??

Ella Mae
Ella Ryann
Ella Elaine
Ella Claire

A girl in my PR just had a little girl and named her Ella Mae. I think that is so sweet and pretty!

You could always spell Elyse differently if you really love that. My sister's middle name is Alise.

I was going to say Tessa Mae. Growning I had people call me Tessa Vanessa... haha but don't do that.

Is there any names in your family (either middle or first) you would like. I.E. in our family middle names are muriel, Alice, Jean, Elaine, Elenore. Our middle name if we have a girl is after my cousin who I lost 10 years ago. I used the beginning of her name as the middle name for us.

The name Ella, Ellie is becoming more and more popluar. Both are adorable but I like Tessa over Ella.

I like the name Tessa! How are you pronouncing Ryann? My middle name is Ryan and I've always liked it.
