Ok so on my registry I have a Bright Starts Tropical Fun around the world we go activity station:
I really like it and like the reviews of it too. Its a walker/play are for when they get older. The walker part comes off. I figure she'll be able to use it around 3 months or so.
I'm debating if I should get a play mat such as this one too:
Or just stick with my activity station. I will have toys that she can play with both in her crib and in ehr play pen. What do you ladies think? Is it worth it to get both or just stick with the activity station?
I'd get both. The playmat will be good for tummy time and when you lay her on the floor she'll have something to play with. We didn't get a playmat initially for DD and I regretted it. We ended up getting her one around 3 months old. We started putting her in her jumparoo around 3-4 months too. But we had to put a big shoebox with a book on top of it underneath so she could reach the floor! (I actually didn't have it on the lowest setting, and I didn't figure it out until we put it away... )
I agree with Mylene, we had both as well and I'm glad we did. I plan on using our playmat right away with this baby for tummy time and such, and the excersaucer we had kept Aiden entertained long after the playmat lost it's appeal.
We had a playmat and a jumperoo and Lily loved both. The playmat was great to occupy her for tummy time, etc from newborn on up. And the jumperoo was good for when she was able to keep her head up easily.
Get both! We used our activity mat for about 5 months and then Lily was big enough to play with the exersaucer. We had the exersaucer out until she decided she was ready to start walking along furniture (about 10-11 months).
