When I was pregnant with DD I never worked out. This time around I am trying to get 30-60min in 3-5 days a week. I feel such a difference. I don't have the aches and pains I had with DD and I have also only gained half of the weight I did with DD when I was at this point!

I mostly walk on the treadmill for 30min. then when I feel up to it I'll do a prenatal fitness video (30min) afterwards. I have been alternating between these two videos, I LOVE them both!

Amazon.com: Summer Sanders' Prenatal Workout: Summer Sanders, Keri Crockett, Rick Ojeda: Movies & TV
Amazon.com: The Perfect Pregnancy Workout vol. 1: Karyne Steben, Elisa Llamido: Movies & TV

So are you working out? What is your workout schedule? How do you feel?

Here is my workout:
I walk to the fridge and do a powerlift of the fridge door. Then, I do a SQUAT or DEEP KNEE BEND to investigate the contents. I LIFT and PULL out what I want and then proceed to vigoriously work out my chewing and swallowing muscles whilst I eat!
LOL! That's it! I have been so bad. No excersizing at all. I suck.. I will be fat forever.

It's so awesome that you are feeling good from working out. I wish I was as disciplined as you! You rock!

I work out once or twice a week doing zumba (latin/reggaeton/salsa cardio class) or just a regular cardio dance class.

I love it! I feel great afterwards. I've only gained 11 lbs so far this pregnancy. I dont think that thats why though. ACtually I dont know why. I normally work out either Mon and Wed or Tue and Wed or Mon and Tue for 60 mins each session. It relieves a lot of the stress that I could have, I believe.

Granted when I'm in class I do get stares like "Is she going to do all the moves?". I modify b/c I'm not about to jump up and down. Some ladies are like "I cant see how you can last this whole class" or "I dont see how u do it!". I do have to go potty about 2 or 3 times b/c I take a drink of water after each song.

I still ache occasionally b/c she likes to weigh down on my lower stomach but thats about it.

@ Angela!

I try to walk 5 miles a day, which is 5 laps around my neighborhood. It depends on the weather though. It's hard to workout at home with Lily because she always gets into something and I have to stop. But walking is easy because I promise her we will go to the park and then she'll cooperate in her stroller until we get there.

I am actually really upset with myself over this. I am a big timer exerciser. I had just finished P90X about 3 weeks before I got pregnant...before doing p90x I used to workout 5-6 days a week and run 2-4 miles a day. When I was in my 1st trimester I was having a lot of spotting and was afraid to do anything working out wise, even though my doc. said it was ok. Since getting off track I have only done the elliptical a few times. I keep telling myself I am going to start but now I just feel stupid because I am 28 weeks along. I need to start! I am so afraid that I will have a hard time getting back on track after Chase comes!

Shannon, I am right there with you! I didn't work out at all my first pregnancy and really regretted it, this time I've been doing a prenatal yoga and prenatal salsa video every morning for 30-60 minutes.

Plus I count running after my one and a half year old all day as a little bit of excercise

And I also feel completely different this time around, I haven't had any of the sciatic nerve pain or leg cramps I got with DS, and also have gained a ton less weight. Working out has made a huge difference.

I work out just about every day, I have to because of my EDS.

I want to but I'm not. Every time I turn around I'm sick so now I've just about given up.

I do a little bit of a work out but it's SO small that i don't know if you can really count it as a work out. I've been looking for a good pregnancy workout DVD for a long time.. Out of the two you posted, do you have a favorite?

Kudos Chrissy! P90X?! I got it for my hubby for Christmas...his plan is we are starting it together when he gets back. We'll see how that goes lol. How was it? Everyone I have talked to has quit after the first 2 weeks
