Have definitely calmed down. He usually is goin nuts in there at 10:30pm..last night I barley got anything (and that was after I even ate a PB&J) He is usually wakin me up at 8:30..havent gotten anything. So I broke out the doppler and he has a good strong heartbeat..around 140s but I am still freakin out a little. He is usually super active..especially those times. Might be a ridiculous question but do they go thru growth spurts & don't move as much for a bit?? When should you call your dr about lessening movements??

There was a thread yesterday about movements... i'd call the doctor if my baby wasn't moving when he normally does. It's about finding your baby's pattern. If he's usually moving a lot around that time i'd call just to be safe. I'm sure everything is okay but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I decided to try some music and it worked! Put my laptop (its smaller than most) on my belly and played some Phish..sure enough he started dancing in therePhish gets everyone moving...you cant resist Maybe his pattern is just a bit off last night/this morning?? Im just relieved to be feeling him roll around in there.

Awww, that's cute! I'm glad you were able to get him moving. My little one hates when I put anything on my belly, it's so funny! It's always a sure way to get her moving!

I've felt this baby less often as well. Mentioned it to the doctor yesterday and he isn't concerned. He thinks the baby turned inward which makes it harder to feel movement. That makes sense because the past couple days I've gotten larger rounded areas (back? butt? head?) pushing out, but no real regular kicks.
