I tried painting the letters the first time...I got as far as the C before I got fed up with how difficult it was to do anything detailed and threw it in the trash That is when I moved on to the paper!

Thanks for the advice on the mirror....I might scrap the idea and just leave the wall bare there or get a cute decal or something because you are right...my mom said the same thing today! I dont want my LO to get hurt b.c I thought the mirror would look cute!

they look amazing, I am going to have to steal this idea if you don't mind. I have a ton of scrapbook paper that would work since I haven't scrapbooked in quite a while. did you have any problems with getting the paper to match up with the edges after you cut it?

Of course I don't mind if you do this! I stole it from someone else I think! Here is what I did for the letters..I traced the letter on the back of the paper and then when I cut it out I just cut inside the line a little bit. It was actually easier for me to trace the letter and then carefully draw the letter again a little bit inside and then cut it out. This way I didn't have to worry about the paper not matching up. If you look at mine up close they look like they have a small white edge around them.

Honestly though, once you glue it down I dont think it would be difficult to use an exacto knife to trim off any extra paper that was hanging off the edge, so don't worry about that. The one thing I will say I was most careful about was bubbles. I smoothed out the paper on top of the letter with the side of a ruler to get any air bubbles or globs of glue to lay flat. They didn't look perfect until they dried over night.

Great job Chrissy!! There is several different wasy you could hang them. An idea I have for my letters are to use a pegged coat rack that attaches to the wall. Then I have ribbon attached to the back of the letters so you can hang them. Just a thought if your stuck.

I have my daughter's letters still sitting in my closet waiting to be painted or decorated in some way since April. I need to go buy the letter's for this one's name and do this. I was thinkng Modge Podge would work nicely. I love them Good job
