DH and I pretty much agreed on a name the day we found out we were having a girl..But really, husband was the one overly enthusiastic about the name..

Audrey Ella..

Ella is my grandmother's name, and I really wanted it in there somehow..

I just recently fell in love with the name Macey.

Maybe its my fault for kindof saying "okay, thats what it is then." because I like the name audrey too.. I still like the name..

I just feel like maybe we should've taken some more time to really think.. DH said he's not completely opposed to other name ideas, because obviously she isn't named yet, but I know that he has his heart set on Audrey, and has gotten used to that name.. He isn't going to budge.. I know Audrey ella sounds alot better than "macey ella" and we of course already told my grandma that her name would be honored...

What do you guys think?

I don't think Audrey Ella sounds better than Macey Ella. Both are very nice.

I think they both are adorable! If you're really unsure, talk to DH and tell him you're having second thoughts. How does he feel about the name Macey?

Hmm thats tough. I know if I suggested something else now Jason would have a hard time budging because he is so set on Kalon, but so am I, so I dont see myself suggesting anything else lol. What did he say when you suggested Macey? I love that name! If we were having a girl I would be torn between Maci and Evelynn. Hopefully you guys can work something out.

I like both names and they both sound good with Ella. Maybe you can decide between the two names when she is born and see which one fits her better then? Nobody said you have to name the baby before, KWIM? DH had his heart set on Christopher Coby. He has wanted to name our babies if we ever had a boy since I was pregnant with Camille. I don't mind it, it just don't like the idea of having two Chirstophers (DH's name is Christopher) and I really didn't like the idea of a jr. He said that he would "entertain" other names but was very set on Christopher. I kept coming up with names I liked and gave them to him. He is the one that eventually came up with Easton. So, they can be swayed. I did make sure that he knew that if he was absolutely sure one Christopher that I didn't want him to change his mind and regret not naming him that. He said he was absolutely sure and liked Easton Coby better.

That happened to me too. We decided on a name and then I started not to like it and said we need to find something else. He was so set on that name but we were able to come up with 2 other names we like and now I am not going to make a decision until she is born. I want to see her and then decide (and hopefully after L & D DH will cave on the one he doesn't like as much, lol).
