I don't post in here much, but I figure I will update now since it's so close. My induction was scheduled for Tuesday, but after my appointment today she has pushed it up to tomorrow morning at 4am. My blood pressure was borderline again, I had protein in my urine (1st time ever for that), and the baby has less fluid around him than last week.
I will be 38 weeks tomorrow and his weight estimate is around 7lbs 15oz. Caleb was 7lbs 4oz when he was born, so they will probably be a similar size.
She said at 4 they will start pitocin, and at 8 or so she will come in and break my water. I'm dilated 2cm but she said I'm still pretty thick.
My labor with Caleb was about 21 hours, and I was hoping it would be faster this time. Does it matter with an induction if it's your second or not when it comes to the amount of time it takes?
I think an induction would be a little bit longer, but since its your second, who knows!! at least with an induction they are more likely to have time to give you pain meds (if you need them)

this AMAZING siggy was made by Mom2*Lauryn*Jacob*!
and I think everyone is different. I was induced (with pitocin-- when I was 3cm dilated) with my second and it was less than 2 hrs start to finish LOL Went 4cm to crowning in 12 mins....like I said, everyone is different tho.

no idea about labour lengths-- technically my second labour lasted longer all in all-- but they were both super-short, so whatever.
anyhow, i hope you will post more with us, once baby is born-- wishing you lots of luck and easy, shorter labour vibes, mama-- GOOD LUCK. can't wait to see that beautiful little one, and hear your story, mama!
