Ok, I went to the bathroom this morning and noticed like a dark brown discharge stain towards the front of my underwear...went to the bathroom...nothing in the toilet or when I wiped. Noticed a little more this afternoon, again, not when I go or when I wipe. Anyone know what this could be and should I be concerned? Thanks..It's been bothering me all day. The baby's been moving all day so I know he's ok

Doesn't hurt to tell your doctor for sure. How far along are you?

Could be any number of things... if you've had intercourse it could be from spotting (very common, our cervix becomes very sensitive), you could be losing some of your mucus plug, possibly an infection. As long as it's not a lot and not bright red I wouldn't worry to much but you can put in a call to your OB if you're concerned or it continues.

I'm 28 weeks and 3 days, I know it's not from dtd as we haven't in a looooong time. What does it mean to lose your mucous plug? With my daughter, I had to be induced and never had spotting or anything wierd happen.

Stephanie

Another question...totally off of this topic...someone made me a siggy...how do I use it?

I had the same thing, I was worried as well, and i was having it around the same time as you, its completely normal for this stage of pregnancy, the dr i asked, cause i was having the same thing, said its normal now for this color discharge and will and can have more noticeable amounts in the coming weeks, as long as its not red, its good

I called the on-call doc last night after I went to the bathroom again and had alot more and it was gooey (Sorry if TMI) and she said the same...asked if I had intercourse or had my cervix checked recently and I said no...and she said as long as it's brown that means it's old blood and should be ok....she wasn't very helpful so I'm going to make an appointment today....now after reading about losing the mucous plug it's really scaring me.

I was going to guess mucus plug though it seems earlier for that.
