So fro about 2 days now I have been feeling campy. For some reason I can't tell if I'm have just BH or the real contractions. They don't really hurt just very uncofrtable. The thing is I can feel my belly get hard. Sometimes it's so big deal but i have had a few that when it's happening it makes my vaginal area sore and i have to breath threw it just a little from the discomfort. I know you ladies ar going to tell me to call my dr and I have thought about this but I haven't even told DH about this. I don't want him to think that I'm complaining about "normal" pregnancy stuff. So I'm hoping that you can help me out a little before I give in an call. And yes I have tried to drink water, lay on my left side and relax but it still happens and I'm still crampy so it just makes me think it's normal.

How frequent is it? If it's painless, it sounds like BH to me.

It does sound like BH to me too. But it also sounds like the regular contractions I had with DD. They weren't painful, just uncomfortable. Are they timeable? If so, you'll probably want to call!

I wish I could be of more help but I am a first timer and have yet to feel any Braxton Hicks contractions....I keep waiting for them and nothing!

last night they were about every 15-20 min. so not anything really. There not painless but they don't hurt just very uncomfortable.

I would only be concerned if they were timeable and became more frequent/closer together. I have horrible BH that I have to breathe through all the time..I had the same thing with DS but was induced at 41 weeks with him, so I'm not really worried about it being a sign of preterm labor.

But it's always good to be in-tune with your body and call if you feel really worried

Thanks ladies. Really I don't feel it's a big thing and I'm more for BH on this. Just thought I would throw this out there and get others take on it.

It sounds like BH to me but if its more frequent and discomforting then I'd say that there's a possibility that it might be mild contractions.

I've been dealing with the same thing for about 2 weeks now. They can get pretty uncomfortable and lasts for a few seconds. They are definately BH contractions. Plus Im having alot of sharp pains and pressure down there.
