The weather is horrible outside but he said that didn't bother him. He'd be here by 1 pm to take a look at the nursery and give me a price on painting.

I'm hoping that means work is slow for him right now and he'll cut me a good deal. He didn't have to come today but he insisted. Which is fine I guess. If he's not too high maybe he can do it this weekend or Monday.

OMG Ladies! Dh and I decided to just pay someone to do it if the price was right.

This guy wanted $375!!! It's a 12x10 room and all I'm wanting is the walls painted. They are ready to paint he doesn't have to do any cleaning, puttying or anything else just paint.

So we're doing it ourself. I can't see paying that much. That would buy a LOT of baby stuff!

WOW that is crazy, maybe I should start painting in my spare time... already did this whole 1800 sqft house myself (some rooms more then once as I changed my mind on color)... think I could teach the baby to tape? hehehee

Hope you guys get to do it this weekend and it's quicker then you plan

Holy crap! That's just not right at all. I hope you're able to have fun with it.

I'm painting it a neutral beige/tan color. It's currently pale, pale pink so it should be really easy to cover.
