We got it and probably got about 5- 6 inches. It might not sound like much to some of you. But we only see snow every once in awhile. And it has been years since I have seen this much snow here where I live.

Just curious...

We had about 7 or 8 inches. My power went out for about two hours in the afternoon. Then it went out last night at 10pm and didn't come back on until just 15 minutes ago: 15 hours without electricity and heat!! The dogs and I made a blanket fortress to sleep and then this morning I channeled my inner girl scout and kept the fireplace going for a few hours.

We only got about 2 inches. We never lost our power but we have a generator b/c we normally do lose power very easily and it stays out quite a while.

No snow here in northern Houston area. Although my cousin that lives about 40 mins north from me said they got a little bit. We did get some sleet in with all the nasty rain.
