I posted earlier about the "bruised uterus" feeling. Well my dr called me around 4 and apologized that she had not talked with me earlier. She seemed kinda annoyed that the nurse called me without talking with her about me and she just then got the note that I had called. But anyways she wanted me to head over to L&D just to make sure it wasn't anything serious. She was actually headed there anyways so it worked out well. She pressed down exactly where I was hurting and said it was my gallbladder. So I got some bloodwork done and an u/s of gallbladder (didnt get to see Kalon ) Everything came back normal and she said the only thing she could think of is maybe my gallbladder is just inflamed. I eat pretty healthy so she didnt know why but basically said just no sweets or fatty foods at all and see if that helps any. I was relieved it was nothing serious (even though I didnt really get an answer). Hopefully thats all it is though. Kalon has been goin nuts in there all day so he seems to be doin just fine which makes me happy
Bummer that they couldn't pin point the problem but it sounds like your Dr. is really mindful of the care you are getting which is great!!! I hope you feel better soon Annie!! I have pretty severe gall stones but I also have the same bruised feeling you describe, if someone palpates the top of my uterus I could scream it is so tender. Hopefully if your gall bladder is the culprit it will settle down!!!

I'm glad to hear it isn't anything too serious! Definitely ask your dad or your DR about the costochondritis though, okay (seeing as there was no gall stone and it's the same area)? I don't remember that there was much they could do while I was pregnant, but as soon as I gave birth they bandaged the bottom of my ribs and gave me some anti-inflammatory meds and it worked awesome. And I really hope you don't get a gallbladder stone, I hear those things are terrible! ((hugs))
It stinks that they couldn't pinpoint the problem, but at least they don't seem to think that it's anything serious. I hope you feel better soon, and if the pain gets any worse, make sure to call your doc back right away!
I'm also happy to hear you were able to get it checked out--even though they can't pinpoint the problem...of course you have to have zero sweets on one of the biggest chocolate days of the year...c'est la vie. Happy to hear sweet Kalon is being an active little man though
