Breakfast: Grape Nuts cereal with milk; coffee with cream & sugar
Lunch: Hard boiled egg, slice of havarti cheese, baby carrots, an apple, a plum and a few pecans
Snack: 3 ryvita crackers with natural peanut butter; 1 cup of 1% milk
Dinner: leftover whole wheat pasta with tomato basil sauce; 1 chicken breast
Snack: glass of wine
Water: 5 bottles
Exercise: 60 minute intense cardio-kickboxing class
Thoughts: I'm really trying hard to eat only foods that grew from the ground or had a mother, but there are definitely some I won't give up: breakfast cereal, pasta, wine, high fiber crackers etc. They're still really healthy, but just not quite as natural as the Master Your Metabolism book suggests. I also am having a hard time getting 30% of my diet from protein... I'm only at about 15%.
I may stop tracking here... I'm really enjoying the LoseIt iPhone app and so I'm basically just doubling my efforts. Plus, it seems there are very few of us here...
