It appears as though I have a fever.... and I feel like I'm burning up. My fiance was sick the last few days and now I'm kind of getting it. My nose is a little stuffed up and my throat a little sore. It wasn't anything I couldn't handle but now it seems like I have a fever. Should I be concerned about this? It's 9pm here so I can't call my doctor (it's Sunday anyways, so I guess that doesn't matter haha). I don't know that I should go to the ER over a fever so I'm just looking for opinions considering I've never been through this before and I don't know how serious it actually is.

My fiance is on the way to CVS to get a thermometer to see how high it is because ours had broken a while back and we hadn't replaced it yet... hopefully it's not too high.

I'd rather not take Tylenol if I don't have to because I had a loss a few months ago and I'm just trying to be cautious. Any advice would be awesome!

I had a fever in early pregnancy with my first and I took Tylenol for it. I also took Ricola cough drops because they have less chemicals and saline solution for my stuffy nose. Feel better!

I had a fever the first week or so (like 4-5 weeks along) with my first pregnancy. I didn't take anything because it wasn't super high. DR said it was fairly common. Feel better!

i had a fever with #2 in the beginning, it got pretty high and I ended up taking cold showers to try to bring it down. Take tylenol too, that will bring it down.

Thanks ladies.

It ended up being close to 100 last night. But I got it go down before I went to sleep. I'm still sick today but feeling a little bit better. Ugh. Hopefully it goes away soon!

fever was actually what made me poas again. this was our first month ntnp after the nuva ring, and when i charted my ovulation day i realized we bd right before i o'd, so i starting paying extra special attention to any and all *possible* symptoms. starting poas 8 and 9 dpo, etc. got a bunch of negatives and thought, "oh well, next month". then on 10 dpo i felt hot hot hot at work and achy in my neck and was 99.2. Low grade to be sure, but definitely there. next am had a faint positive at 11 dpo.

I still feel hot, too. No thermometer here, but my skin is hot and i keep getting chilled.

also, fwiw, i call anything less than 100.4 "low grade" and not too worrisome.

I agree... anything below 100 I'm not too worried about it. I just want to monitor it and make sure it doesn't get too high.

Hope you're feeling better!!
