Anyone done some projects lately that they know is their nesting kicking in?

Today, I did a bunch of yard stuff - weeding, planting some new dahlia bulbs, etc. It was lovely to make things look all tidy!

Then I came inside and organized the tupperware drawer

i cleaned out our linen cupboard and the wardrobes in the kids bedroom and playroom, got rid of all the boxes in the front spare room and from the garage... that was all a few months ago though. Last week I went through every item of clothing the kids have an am planning on throwing/giving away the stuff that doesnt fit, is stained or has holes in it.

I cleaned the walk-in closet that has been a DISASTER since we moved in here a month ago. I made Dh go through all of his clothes and get rid of everything he doesn't wear (I've been asking him to do this for years.) I then went in and folded and hung up everything in my own little order. Dh ended up getting rid of 3 HUGE garbage bags full of clothes. It feels good to walk in there now!

I cleaned our closet and actually did all the laundry. And I have the worst urge to pull stuff out of the baby's room but I was told today no lifting at all so that will have to be pushed onto DH!

In the last month I have replaced all (except my table and chairs) of the furniture in my livingroom/diningroom, redid Katrina's room, went through my packed carport and sheds, attempted to have a yard sale (stupid rain), and finally folded clothes that were washed back in October. Oh and I canned 1.5 bushels of apples which came out to 7 quart jars of applesauce, 24 pints jars of applesauce, and 8-10 half pint jars of apple butter (I can't remember excatly).

This weekend I have or will have bought a years worth of household products (laundry soap, dish soap, paper plates, paper bowls, toliet paper, paper towels, cleaners, deoderant, and razor blades), reorganized my pantry, deep cleaned my room, rehung all of the curtain rods and replaced the curtains, redo Jack's room, and finish the laundry.

I'm really stepping up my cleaning game and taking on big cleaning and organizing projects. I think it has more to do with the change in weather than nesting. Feels like regular spring cleaning mode to me.

Last weekend DH and I cleaned the basement. It was a disorganized mess. This weekend we cleaned the guest bedroom (which I will be keeping the pack and play in) and we super cleaned my car (including using our steam cleaner to clean floor mats and seats). I have also been working on babies room of course and bought a few more baby items this week! Still have a TON to due!

here was my Facebook status from yesterday morning: " is becoming a morning person? So far today I have made, eaten and cleaned up after waffles, done a load of laundry (a second load in right now), sorted out all the non baby stuff from the baby's closet, organized some stuff in the other closets and basement, did dishes and emptied the dishwasher. Yipes...it's only 9am...should be just waking up!!!"

I would say some that (the closet cleaning, organizing....) was the start of my Nesting!!

Not lately. Early in the 2nd trimester I just had to wash my parents dishes while I was there. I also had to clean their kitchen floor and all their counters. I am kinda hoping my nesting kicks in so that I can get all my house work caught up before baby gets here!

I've been doing random things here and there. This week though I am focusing on reorganizing and cleaning the house. I'll do a room a day and focus soley on that room. Hopefully I can get it done!

I pretty much cleaned all the tile floors in the kitchen, by the front door and the 3.5 bathrooms and then cleaned the walls, toilets, did laundry, dishes, finally tossed a bunch of stuff to the dump like DS old crib, 2 broken tv's, 3 vacumn cleaners lol, then vacumned all the rooms upstairs, and then last night i decided to sit down and paint the letters for Alex's bedroom cause i ran out of things to do around the house.

I did the girls' closets last month. I also vacuumed out the van today and washed it. So nice! The nursery is almost all cleared out of junk, we bought the dresser for the room this past week and are buying the paint and rug tomorrow!

Ditto to this, I feel like I'm doing my regular crazy Spring cleaning around the house & I was outside most of Sunday doing yard work, it felt great.
