I can't wait for my doctor appointment on Friday, I'm so worried about having pre eclampsia again. Unless there is some other reason I'm not aware of for seeing spots.

Seeing spots is from high blood pressure right? Or is there some other reason I'm not thinking of?

I dont know of any other reasonss unless you have eye floaties (but those would be pretty much all the time not just during pregnany). I have 1 eye floaty - sometimes I dont see if for months and other times it is there every day. They just look like black spots that float along your eye. you cant see them from the outside though.

I get spots in my vision too! Are u swelling very bad? I think if it was preeclampsia u would be retaining a lot of water n ur face n extremeties would be very swolen. Do u have any local grocery stores or pharmacies with blood pressure machines? We have them in our local grocery machines. I would go and check ur pressure.

Migranes can cause eye floaties.

I was just gonna say migraines. Also, if you don't have a BP machine at home, use the one they have at a pharmacy store or near the pharmacy section. It may not be a bad idea to get a BP machine if you've had preeclampsia in the past, just to monitor your BP.

could you go into a pharmacy & see if they'll take your BP for you??? I'm sure the reassurance would do you the world of good - because being worried about it, will only be making you stressed -and making your bp higher! ((Hugs))

I don't know anything about pre-e, but hope that it is not what it is. KUP and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I'd say invest in the home BP machine, I did last time (developed pre-e about 36 weeks or so??) and I've been glad to have it this time.

Keep a watch for headaches, swelling, etc. ... don't be afraid to go into the doc or even emerg if you feel you are having very bad headaches in particular.

KUP!

Eye floaties could be optical migraines. I have had the lovely experience of having several of these this pregnancy.

I was seeing spots the other day and it scared me but I went to the dr the next day and my blood pressure was low. I don't have migraines either. Not sure what caused the spots but I hope yours is nothing serious either. KUP!

I hope all is ok! please KUP....as for eye floaties I used to get them all the time before pregnancy but it was low BP, like if you stand up really fast and get dizzy, I would have that happen, have the eye floaties and almost pass out so it may not be high BP, I hope it isn't and you and baby are just fine!

Nope, no updates. I don't feel bad enough to call the doctor yet, I feel like I can hold out until Friday so thats what I'm going to do. Of course if I start feeling worse then I'll call. I just took it really easy yesterday, since if I did have BP issues all the doctor would do right now is say bedrest.

I've also seen spots before, and I have REALLY low BP, sometimes ridiculously - so I agree with what kimmiejo said!
