Just passing on, for those who haven't seen it, that Old Navy is having a sale on all of their breezy sundresses, including their maternity dresses. Through March 9th, they're $20 and S/H is $7. On top of that, there's a coupon code for 15% off of your whole order through the duration of the sale (coupon code: onfifteen), making buying online cheaper than going to the store very quickly, even with S/H. Though I will say the choices online aren't as numerous as in the store...
Some of the dresses do fit a lot better than others...
This dress fits like a dream (I have to wear a tank underneath it because it scoops down crazy low in the front...), and while I wanted to love this one, it doesn't fit well in the chest and was a common complaint for the girls trying it on in store. This one in black I love, but the white one be careful... It's practically see-through. Again, the bust is weird and I have to wear something over it, but it's so cute you just don't care, though it won't help with the growing belly as much as the cotton or jersey numbers. And while I'm not a fan of strapless, this dress is really nice. It stays put very nicely, no popping out worries for me (D chest), and I love them. The patterned ones look less "beachy" and are very easy to dress up.
Here's the maternity ones that are on sale... Honestly, in store all of these styles were mixed in with the non-maternity stuff so the fits are pretty much universal. Though again, Old Navy suffers from the too low cut bust on most of those, though they all work really well with a tank underneath. Maybe it's just because I'm too "top heavy?"
Anyway, just thought you ladies would want to know. I did try most of the styles on in-store, so if you have questions...
FYI, I'm 5 ft 7 and the regular sizes hit at just about my ankles. Online has petite and talls too, but I can't say how those fit.
