What is the difference between the Wii Fit and the Wii Fit Plus?

Can you buy the Wii Fit Plus, if you dont have the regular Wii Fit?

Below is my weightloss ticker. This is not for the pregnancy weight to come off as it has pretty much all came off. The rest of it is just what I've been wanting to loose for a while now to get back to my healthier weight!

Wii fit plus is updated & has new activities.. You don't need the original wii fit for it, but you do need the Wii Fit Balance Board

if you were going to get it, i'd get the fit plus

I have the regular one. But my mom got the Wii Fit plus for Christmas and says it has all the same games as the orginal plus some more and that 2 people can play at the same time, where in the original only one player can sign in and do their work out at one time. You would have to sign out and back in if you wanted to take turns with someone else and play together on the original, but don't have to do that with the Plus one. I'm not sure how they are sold now. When we got ours it came with the balance board and Wii Fit game cd. I know you can buy just the cd for the Plus if you already have that, not sure if you can buy the Plus cd with balance board as a bundle?

I just saw online through best buy that you can get the wii fit plus with balance board for $99... Im gonna call and see if the Best Buy in our area has one...hopefully, dh and I can decide if we want one or not!! I'd love to be able to do the yoga..plus i saw on the Wii Fit Plus that it has a thing on there called Baby something, where you can monitor a baby's weight and a pets weight..It sounds pretty neat!
