I had ordered a pack and play for Andrew. The one I wanted and was super excited to get it! I got it at walmart.com and did site to store. It was estimated to be in the store between the 17th and the 22nd of this month. Ok no big deal. Well then I get the confirmation this morning that it was shipped (last night) and then this afternoon at about 1 I get an email that it is in the store and ready to pick up! woohoo! I got all excited. Hubby was gonna pick it up on his way home from work for me.
Fast forward to now. I just called to see if he got it. And he goes well, I went to pick it up and the box is ripped and the cover was ripped on it so they are sending it back.
So now I'm not sure what is gonna happen. I'll find out when he gets home. UGH SO annoying though. I hate getting SOOOO excited and then getting let down. That was the first big thing we've actually BOUGHT for Andrew. So I was super excited to actually get it and get it early!

I went to the tracking thing on walmart.com. And when it got to the fedex office it said barcode label unreadable and replaced.

*and NOW as I'm typing this hubby calls and informs me that I have to completely REORDER it and they will refund my money, UGH....I am NOT liking walmart right now*
UGH and now after looking online the one I wanted has gone up in price! I'm REALLY annoyed now! It's gone from $64.50 to $72.00. Not a huge difference but enough for me to be REALLY pissed off about. It's probabyl hormones but why should I have to pay MORE for something that THEY messed up on! UGH

I've had a crappy day, I am exhausted and my son has been throwing temper tantrum after temper tantrum on top of me being sick and this was just the icing on the cake!

Call their customer service and explain what happened to them. If you talk directly to them they will probably send you a new one for the same price you paid for the last one.

The crib that I ordered for my DD from walmart.com was broken when it arrived. When I called to get the return approval I had asked how long it would take to get a new crib in. They told me that the broken one had to make it to their defectives warehouse, paperwork had to be processed, and THEN they would send a new one out. I was irate (as I was well into my 3rd trimester) - explained to them that I was due VERY soon and that I didn't want baby to sleep on the floor. I got a new crib the next week.

*hugs* Heather.

I have a tendency to get excited so easily and then when it doesn't happen or something goes wrong it is so disappointing. I would call customer service and tell them to send you a new one and you are no reordering it and its their fault that it was damaged.
I hate Walmart sometimes. I used to get all my prescriptions there but after I don't know how many times being told they didn't have the medication or not enough to fill I moved all my stuff to Walgreens.

I tried to call. I can't find a number ANYWHERE to call to talk to someone. I have looked all over their website as well as on the little refund reciept my husband brought home. The 800 number on it is nothing but an automated thing that reads off what it says online. I emailed them since that seems to be my only option.
So now my option is looking like wait 5 days for them to refund the money back to the card (it was a giftcard we got as well as the credit card) and then reorder it and pay the difference. I am hoping they will email me back. I'm really annoyed that there is NO number to call but this 800 number and it's just automated.

I found the number to corporate. Called and it takes me back to EXACTLY where I was before with the stupid automated walmart.com menu.

yeah it is. I got through to someone finally and all they can tell me is that they can refer me to the walmart.com customer service which is the SAME THING. UGH. I am done. I emailed them. If they don't come through, I'll wait til the money is back on the giftcard and then take it to the store and get one I don't like anywhere near as much. I hate that they only have one or two in the store and that is it.

Did you try just sitting on the line and waiting, sometimes with automated systems they don't give you an option to press to talk to someone, but if you just sit and wait and push nothing eventually it will start ringing and someone will pick up. Also you can try hitting random numbers that are not a choice on the menu and see if one of them takes you to a human.

I would try pressing zero, thats what DH always does.

Pretty much my whole family works for Sam's Club. I don't know how much my step mom would know but she is the pharmacist there and she's had to cover people at walmart before, I'll ask her if she knows of a better number for you to call.

I tried pressing random numbers. I also said operator into the phone a bunch of times with no luck.
I called corporate, and they didn't offer me any help.
HOWEVER, it must have made them get on the ball about refunding the money. They put it all back on the cards about 30 mins or so after I called and emailed! So at least that is good. I'm going to order the other one I liked. It is the same exact pack and play, just a jungle animal print and it's only $57 with the rollback. I'd much rather do that than pay the extra. Especially since it's the same one

I'd definately be demanding that they charge you the price you paid for it originally - it's not like it's your problem that the packaging got damaged etc
