has anyone ever really looked up to see what dust contains?? It is pretty nasty. I was reading an article earlier that just happen to talk about it. I used to just use furniture polish to clean my wood - now I use lysol wipes to clean first and then ploish - lol.

Here is an article if you are interested. lol
Study: Household Dust Contains Poisons, Allergens, DDT - TIME

lol some things I'd prefer not to know...but its things like this were I just can't help but to google...its like my computer does it automatically.

In college I took a microbiology course (as part of my bio major) and I now have trouble cooking pork because I'm terrified of under cooking it. We also watched a movie about dust mites and skin cells in dust and its GROSS lol.

LOL - yeah the part that I found even more nasty than that was the dead bugs and bug poop that are in it - along with arsenic in some houses. supposedly what ever was brought into your house remains there for years in the dust - so your dust could contain stuff from the last people that lived there - YUCK.

Better not let my MIL read that article!!! My 3 year old DD is already freaking out about germs because of her and every little health concern that comes out on tv freaks her out.

I didn't realize that all that was in dust. Now I can see how one can be allergic to it! I always just thought that it was outside dust that made it inside the house - that's it. Guess I was wrong.
