it makes me crazy! at my 28 week (well, 27 week 6 d, close enough) appt today the doc said i'm measuring to be around 30 instead. of course, she justifies with everything ive looked up and read saying it may just be due to baby's current positioning and my US in 6 weeks will give a more accurate dating. but man! i hate worrying about it now....

anyone else annoyed with their measurements?

mine has always been pretty spot on.. although my last appointment it was about a cm off (but smaller then what it should be) - although if my fh was measuring super big I think I would be very worried - but more so worried about a big baby - not so much worried about the due date...

I hope its nothing and im sure it just has to do with how your little one is sitting!

I wouldn't worry about it I am measuring at 31 weeks, My doc just says he is a big baby. You can't trust the measurements 100% they are just an estimate. Your fluid can be high or low from day to day.

I wouldn't worry about only measuring 2 weeks ahead. I measured 2 weeks ahead last time too. And with Carly I always measured like 4 weeks or more ahead and she was just a big baby.

i have a friend who never got hers measured. i read somewhere that in smaller practices they forego it bc it is a good communication tool for doctors if you will be seeing more than one. from what i understand, its not all that accurate anyhow. just one more thing to worry if you measure up to haha

According to my last period, I'm due June 30.
According to my measurements, I'm due June 18.
My dr has set Jue 24..
I'm pretty sure he's just gonna be a big boy, both my previous were pretty good size. 7 14 & 9 14..

the past few visits my little one has always measured anywhwere from a few days to a week behind, then at this last visist she was measuring a week ahead. The doc told me that babies can have growth spurts too, which would explain my crazy eating the past 3 weeks... We go every 2 weeks now, so it'll be neat to see what she is measuring then too!

goodness. I don't even really pay attention to measurements lol. Usually I hear a 'she's measuring good' and I don't even ask lol

I don't ask about anything most women do. I'm just like. I'm here because your supposed to? lol Plus the blood work and paperwork, and shots... you know all the pregnancy stuff you gotta take care of. I figure I could skip most of em if it wasn't for the blood work and crap.
