Well after ds it was like 2 weeks, with dd1 it was like 3 weeks and after dd2 it was like 8 weeks, But the last one it took a bit because we where a bit broke so dh went back on the road for over a month! All in all we wait until the bleeding has stopped. But I am the nympho in our relationship!

Ugh, I can't even imaging him or me wanting him to touch me for weeks afterwords! I think we will probably give it a good month. My DH is soooo squeamish, so it's going to take him a while to get past the whole birth thing. We've already made the rule that he is to go nowhere near the other end during birth. If he did, we'd probably never do it again!

My who-ha is sore just thinking about DTD after giving birth! It really depends on how I feel AND how we will use protection...we both hate condoms.

I can see it being awhile. We aren't all that active now (at all actually). And I imagine we'll both be way too tired, lol.

It depends on when I have her because we know he will be at school from June 4 -21st. So if I have her end of may - then def before he leaves. If I dont have her until right before he leave (or while he is gone) then obviously not until he returns. The whole bleeding thing does not both him at all - he says thats what we have showers for - lol.

We're never in a particular hurry. Most likely 6-8 weeks. We ARE NOT having more and so his vasectomy has to be done and tested before anything is gonna happen. LOL!

I think we waited just over a month with DD. I think we'll probably wait just as long after this one depending on how I'm feeling and when he gets home from Iraq... yay for coming home early. boo for not having an exact date lol

I am sure my dr will tell us "nothing for at least 1 month." That was what we were told after DD was born as well as after my D&C.

Probably around a month but then again I don't know. Dh told me a few days ago that dtd while I'm pregnant this time is kind of weird so we won't be doing it again for awhile. I don't mind at all. lol But I'm sure once the baby is out, he'll want to do it asap.

Man, you guys are enthusiastic....

After DS, it was six months TO THE DAY before we DTD.

Between healing from a c-section, breastfeeding issues that kept me hooked to a pump for basically 2.5 months, and then developing post-partum AND both of us being utterly exhausted all the time because he didn't sleep at all for the first three-ish months.... yeah, NEITHER of us was interested, lol!!!

And after that time, I think it was like another two months before we did it again, lol...

If there is time to be recreationally in bed, we are both so tired that we want to sleep

This time, I'm hoping it won't be quite six months, but if it is, meh ... doesn't bother us. We're not super frequent to begin with, like two to three times a month would be plenty for both of us.

Ok, I am feeling bad for some of the dhs!!!! Men and women were created to DTD!!!! Anyways, I have always waited six weeks, but now I guess I will just wait until I feel like it AND have effective birth control.
