I am officially bleeding!! No cramps...yet...thankfully! Flow is nothing more than a normal AF...for now....not sure what to expect...if it will get worse......never been thru this before!! Should I stick to a pad...tampons...??
Do I let the dr. know.....can we try again right away? Is it safe to try right away?
Funny thing is, this was a surprise pregnancy. Our youngest is only 17 months, we thought we would wait til he was at least 2 before trying for #3 since he took 5 cycles of TTC, then we figured there would be 3 years at least between the two. Before this, we were fine with that plan and at the same time, agreed until then, we wouldn't 'try' but if it happened before we planned, great!!!
Now that I had this pregnancy taken away from me, I want to be pregnant more than anything!!!!! Luckily DH is on the same page so I will hopefully be in a DDC soon!!
Take care and I pray you all have a H&H 9 months!!!!

I'm so sorry sweetie! I would definitely call your doctor! I would suggest trying to get through now, if they have a doctor on call. Bleeding doesn't always mean miscarriage. There is a chance it could be something else, but either way, you should get checked out. If you can't get through to your doctors office, you might even want to head to the ER or a walk-in clinic. (I went straight to the ER when I started a miscarriage a few months ago and they ran all kinds of tests to make sure that's what was going on).
And I know what you mean. I went through a loss in October and the pregnancy had been a complete surprise and then I wanted to be pregnant again more then anything! Most doctors advise you to wait at least one cycle, but you'll know when you're body is ready. If this is in fact a miscarriage, the TTCAL board is a great place for support!! And you can PM me anytime!
Ditto - give the doc and call. There are many things that cause bleeding in early pregnancy that do not always mean m/c. (Although on the other questions - when I had a m/c I stuck w/ pads. got pregnant 2 cycles later w/ DD).

Oh no sweetie! I'm so sorry. You're exactly at where I was last month - surprise pg, wanted nothing more than to put it back right away. That feeling is totally normal and it's hard. For now, use only pads - no tampons. If this is a m/c your cervix will be open and you don't want to introduce anything into your uterus that can cause an infection.
The docs do advise waiting a cycle, but it's really up to you. I always feel that if it's early pregnancy (before 6wks) with no complications (molar, ectopic, etc) that there's no reason to wait, however, I'd see what your doctor advises for you. I personally didn't wait and conceived the same cycle. Another girl (Linsay) did too. So, it's definitely possible although you might have to bear another disappointment so soon after your loss if you don't ovulate or whatnot.
I would def check in and see what's going on first though - bleeding in early pregnancy is quite common. If it's light, it may not be a m/c (I bled like a light period for a few days with two of my kids ...)
(((HUGS SWEETS)))

check w/ your doc, for sure, a girl I worked with didn't know she was pg with her second until she was 3 months along cos she had a light 'period' for the first two months when her period would have normally been. T&P regardless!!!

I am so sorry that you have to go through this
I had a miscarriage on Jan 4th. www.pregnancyloss.info and The Misdiagnosed Miscarriage Site REALLY helped me through my miscarriage and provided answers to all my questions.

I am so sorry. I contacted my doctor each time, in case the bleeding got so bad I thought I needed to go in. You will need to wear a pad to monitor the bleeding. Most doctors say wait to cycles but definitely your first so you will have a accurate due date.
