Hi everyone,
I figured I would ask you because you are all in the middle of picking names too. Here's the situation: I have a girl name all set from my last pregnancy. But, I never really had a backup boy name picked out and I am having a hard time coming up with one that fits what I want but is not too crazy popular. Here are the things I want in a name:
-I love boy names ending in N or R
-I prefer Irish sounding names but nothing too out there
-Owen and Evan are out (my son, my husband's name)
-I like Colin, but it is really popular right now, my husband likes Connor
-Hubby has vetoed Gavin, Logan, Brendan thus far

Sooo....any fun names anybody has heard recently with N or R endings? Just thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone has that magic name suggestion. Thanks!

I was going to suggest Declan too. It was our runner up when we named ds.
Sean is a fabulous classic and may be fairly popular but not at all trendy. It has staying power.

I obviously LOVE Brennan (my sons name) and it is Irish!

I also like Declan and would have considered it if this baby was a boy!

DBF wanted an Irish middle name and he chose "Eamon". Its apparently someone big in Irish history. I'm clueless. I liked "Kegan" but he wasn't big on that one.

we were going to do Logan - i love that name ....but it didn't feel right for this baby, so we're going with Calean instead.

I second Dechlan and Cullen (although Twilight may have made this name trendy). Cullen is such a cute little boy name and Dechlan is a sexy guy name
