I am scheduled for an ultrasound on the 6th. To determine the reason for the spotting/bleeding. I'll be almost 17 weeks will they be able to tell the gender? Just wondering. TIA

Yes, I think so. I found out all 3 of my boys were boys at 16 week ultrasounds and I'm having an elective US this time around at 16 1/2 weeks. Good Luck!

Good luck and most importantly, I pray that the cause of the spotting is something simple or that might correct itself later on in the pregnancy. I just had an u/s at 16w6d and it was not a 100% either way (we saw a small "nub" and "three lines", both at different angles) Good luck to you, and yes getting some good news out of this will be awsome, I hope its good news on both counts!

I was able to find out with my DD at 17 weeks during my doctor appointment, so you should be able to tell as long as baby cooperates.
