I went shopping this morning and got DD some super cute puddle jumper boots. She LOVES them. THey have little frogs on them and are darling. I put them on and she was THRILLED to go outside to play in the endless mud puddles we have. I kept peeking out and she was just quietly playing, not in the puddles, but outside, with her cute puddle shoes on her feet.
I started lunch and peeked out again, and she's head to toe in the puddle... all muddy... AND, she took her puddle boots off to do so! So now, her pants and socks are soaked in puddle water and mud and our mud is RED, so it stains right away with the excess iron. UG!! What's the point of the puddle boots if she's going to take them off to play in the puddles?!
FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!!!!!

Cohen loves mud and puddles, We are on the farm so there are lots of places for puddles. He will run throught them and be wet from head to toe - boots full. Even when I pick him up from the babysitter i take him home naked. He is so wet and dirty i don't want him in my van! But he loves it and I have a wash machine
