Wavy Lays and pickles -- eaten together, nothing else. I was unloading the groceries from the store and I realized that I really wanted them. I tried to wait until dinner, but DH is on a run right now which means we won't eat for a loooooong time. So I put the pickle in between the chips and OMG, it was like heaven! Buttery chip, sour pickle....sooooooo good.
I plan on eating many more with dinner tonight. So yummy!
I have a snack periodically that started when I was working in a convenience store. You know, 7 hour shifts so no lunch break kinda place, so the only food there is to eat is... well, c-store food. We used to take the sausage on a stick, wrap it in a tortilla with cheese, mustard, and pickles. So I had that at home today. Hubby always wrinkles his nose at me for it, but he had some today too. LOL He's having more cravings than I am.
Right now he's on a Dr. Pepper run for me.
Much thanks to Alethia for my beautiful siggie and tags!!
You might like salt and vinegar potato chips as well.
I haven't really craved much. I like popsicles but I always do when I'm pregnant. I always forget about them when I'm not!
Tonight I felt like such a ***** at dinner, I got a salad and cheese sticks and there was spahgetti sauce (NOT marinara, SPAGHETTI SAUCE) touching the cheese sticks and I had to send them back, I could not eat them. I apologized so much, and told the waitress "I'm really not like this, but I'm pregnant and my body is doing all these weird things and I just can NOT eat cheese sticks that touch spaghetti sauce."
I insisted on MARINARA only...COLD not hot like the sauce...and it couldn't touch the cheese sticks...
She gave me a dirty look when I ate a whole TWO of the cheese sticks and announced I was full.
I've had other "normal" cravings -- brownies, apple juice, meat -- but I thought this was an odd combo. The chip and cottage cheese idea sounds promising! And don't worry Da'Lynn -- I don't consume a ton of salt on a regular basis, so this salty little snack was a rarity!
Funny mine is also a hot dog. I had to have it burnt. This is very wierd for me since I have not had a hot dog in.....well....DH and I where trying to figure it out and he doesn't remember me ever eating one, and we have been together almost 18 yrs.
