Really, I don't feel pregnant anymore and haven't for a few weeks. I have like NO symptoms anymore except the occasional sciatic pain when I am walking or sitting up for too long. I don't know if that's really a sign though, I mean it was with my girls however I have Fibro so how do I know I am not confusing it with that? A couple weeks ago I think I mentioned I thought I was feeling the baby move, well it was really just that one time then a week later something else, and every now and again I "think" I feel light movements but I'm not sure. Then of course I tell people and they are like oh and your doctor couldn't find the heart beat at your last appointment, are you concerned? Well it had never crossed my mind until now! I mean I'm still not overly concerned about it but I mean say it hasn't been viable for a month then I would know by now right? I mean I think I would lol. I have an appointment this week anyways so we will attempt to find the heartbeat again. Oh and who is still sleeping on their tummy? I am! lol

Except for being tired occasionally (which I kinda always was, even before pregnancy, it runs in my family) I don't really feel pregnant anymore either. I haven't clearly felt the baby move at all. All my appointments have gone fine though so I'm refusing to worry about it. My doctor isn't so I'm trusting her and the process as best I can. It's nice that you have an appointment this week to ease your mind.

I can totally relate to how you are feeling. I did get an ultrasound three weeks ago, and everything was fine. I even felt the baby about a week ago. This past week I have felt NOTHING, and I don't feel pregnant. My aunt does "foot zoning" She says she can determine the sex of the baby by a heartbeat in my ankle. I don't know if I really believe it. I didn't even tell her my concerns, but anyway...she could not find a heartbeat in either ankle. I am freaking out because I have another month before my appointment. If I don't feel something, then I am going to call and try to get in sooner. I hope you get so reasurance soon. It is a scary nagging feeling. BTW I am about 17.5 weeks

Hugs! That must be a scary feeling, could you call and tell them you're concerned and go in? Do you have a doppler?

I would definitely call and ask if you can come in for fetal heart tones check...my OB nurse did that for me once and didn't charge me anything..course if your appt. is a few days you might as well wait.

I thought I was the only one on here with fibro...how has it effected your pregnancy? I've been MISERABLE with the pain and can't get in to see my specialist until May 12th

Fibro sucks and it sucks even more when you are pregnant because I cannot take ANY of my meds to combat the pain. The doctor won't let me take ANYTHING except tylenol. It flares up bad when I am stressed.

Dalynn, do you mean like the second tri is suppose to make you feel fantastic and not pregnant? lol Cause I have NEVER had the privilege of feeling this great in any of my previous pregnancies. I'm sure this will be short lived though and I will go back to feeling like horse dung in no time.

Some women do feel fantastic in the second trimester, and feeling "not pregnant" is often part of that... at least until baby fills up the space available and those movements only felt sporadically right now start to become regular parts of life. Give it a few weeks and when those movements start being regular, you'll feel plenty pregnant again.

(And, sorry for my shortness today... not having a good day. LOL)

I wouldn't say that I "feel" preggo.....I mean, I have a visible bump, but if not for my doppler I'd still be in total doubt and disbelief.

HOWEVER, I would definitely ask for them to check for the HB.....I think that's something they should be looking for at every appt....IMO.....

I'm sure everything is fine hunnie! Try to enjoy not feeling like crud

Couldn't catch the hb at my 14wk appt. with the doppler..so she did a u/s to get the heart rate....

Not feeling much of anything here either..now it's almost like a waiting game to put my mind at ease...either for my next appt. or til baby is big enough to gimme definite daily movements..

I'm glad your appt. is in a few days...put your mind at ease til you start feeling a bit more from baby

I am in the same boat. I haven't felt pregnant for the last 2 weeks. Today, finally, I think I am having some growing uterus pains. It has been forever. I am not feeling any strong baby movements and what I am feeling could be just my imagination. I fall asleep and wake up hoping to feel him/her but nothing happens. My appointment is in 9 days.. I need to hear a h/b.

Second trimester is often viewed this way, totally normal! As for baby, at this point, occasional movements is also noraml......even days without feeling the baby is normal at this point. Glad your appt is in a few days!
